Oxford Research Finland is today in Open Science and Research Forum in Paasitorni congress center Helsinki, Finland. The event is organized by Ministry of Education and Culture of Finland and it’s Open Science and Research Initiative (ATT), which is set out for the years 2014-2017. The objective is for Finland to become one of the leading countries in openness of science and research by the year 2017 and to ensure that the possibilities of open science will be widely utilized in our society.
We’re currently working on an evaluation of openness of academic publisher in cooperation with Open Knowledge Finland. In the forum our analyst Anna Björk presents the preliminary results from this work. The research will continue after the forum and the report will be published in english before end of the year.
