Cianna is a professional analyst, specialising in topics of radicalisation and extremism and welfare issues, such as integration and education. She has recently joined the team at Oxford Research, where she has so far conducted research for the EU Commission's 'Radicalisation Awareness Network' (RAN) on multiagency practices within Exit-practices for radicalised individuals, as well as localised information hubs in Europe.

From her former experience as a researcher both at The Danish Center for Social Science Research (VIVE) and at the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT) in Israel, she has gained in-depth knowledge about these topics, as well as strong experience in conducting both qualitative and quantitative research. Cianna has a background in sociology from University of Copenhagen and studied a MSc in Global Studies at Lund University, where she focused on topics of peace and conflict, terrorism, Middle Eastern Politics and development, whilst advancing her statistical skills. With experience from both think tanks, a governmental institution, a consultancy and NGO's, Cianna has gained a good understanding of public-private relations, cooperation and division of responsibilities.
