Francesco is a young professional specializing in European public policies, with strong managerial and methodological competences. In his work experience he has gained valuable knowledge in the areas of social, territorial, and labour market policies. He has worked with clients across Europe, including the European Commission (e.g., DG EMPL, DG GROW, DG REFORM), decentralized European agencies (ESPON), the European Parliament and national authorities. Examples of projects he has worked on include: a study supporting the ex-post evaluation of EURES, a study on transport infrastructures in depopulated and low-density areas, a study on spatial dynamics and integrated territorial development scenarios for the functional area of Central Europe, and a study on the enhancement of the VET strategy of Luxembourg. His current expertise relates to the design of research methodologies, data collection and analysis, stakeholders’ engagement, and the drafting of policy recommendations. He was previously an employee of Valdani Vicari & Associati (VVA) and he holds a Master’s degree in Comparative Public Policy and Welfare Studies.
